VEHICLE DESCRIPTION:
Up for auction is a 2004 BMW X5 with 163,000 miles. This BMW comes with a Maryland Salvage title due it being a recovered theft and being involved in an accident with a deer. When I bought it from the insurance company the only thing I noticed with it that was wrong was the paint was peeling off the hood on the passenger side and it looks as if someone tried to steal the side airbags on the passenger side. That's the only damage that I can see. I drive this BMW everyday with no issues at all. Runs and drives great. Has the 3.0L motor with an automatic transmission with manual shifting controls. Fully loaded with all power options(windows, mirrors, locks, seats and sunroof), alloy wheels, Xenon headlights, cd stereo, heated seats, window shades, power fold down rear seats, full size spare and much more.
This BMW comes with a Maryland salvage title but really has no damage. The paint on the hood was peeling on the passenger side. I touched it up with a silver paint pen the best I could but the hood really needs to be professionally repainted. I took a picture of the hood so you can see where it's been touched up. Looks as if the passenger side front door has been repainted in the past. The clear coat is peeling and bubbling in a couple of places on the door. The hood and the front door is really the only issues with the paint on this BMW. There's no other body damage, dents or rust. Wheels and tires are in good shape. Rear tires have pretty good tread and the front tires will need to be replaced soon. Open the doors and you will find a black leather interior with all the options. Interior is nice and clean. All power options work great. Needs something with the ac and heat controls. The controls show the airs on but it's not blowing. It most likely either needs a fuse or a blower motor. Looks as if someone tried to pull down the headliner on the passenger side and steal the side airbags. Everything has been put back together. Open the hood and you will find a super clean 3.0L motor. Starts right up and runs great. Transmission shifts perfect with no issues. Drives great down the road. Mechanically the only thing its going to need in the future is front brake pads. I drive this BMW everyday with no issues at all. Comes with full size spare and all factory manuals and books.
