I touch and appraise thousands of vehicle every week, and this X5 stands out in its amazing condition.
There is no doubt that this vehicle was garaged over the years. The exterior Sterling Gray Metallic looks like new. In effort of sharing with you the true and amazing condition of this vehicle, I took as many pictures as possible.
The interior is as clean and well kept as the exterior.
This X5 is equipped with the 4.4L V8 engine producing 315 horsepower and 324 ft lb of torque and 6 speed steptronic automatic transmission.
Improvement for the 2004 were more extensive than any since the X5 was introduced.
For 2004 BMW updated the All-Wheel-Drive system to a system called xDrive. The 4.4L engine is more powerful than previous model thanks to a valvetronic and fully variable intake system.
This is not a truck based SUV, in fact BMW calls them SAV Sport Activity Vehicle, and in that BMW invented a class. As BMW's 3 series defines the sport sedan, the X5 define the sport SUVs.
This X5 shine for its on-pavement agility and lightning acceleration thanks to its 4.4L V8, and with an emphasis on luxury appointments.
When compared to other SUV's, this X5 feels as capable on the road as the big BMW 7 series sedan.
It is a 2.5 tons of speed, comfort and prestige. Its quicker away from traffic lights than most cars, and capable of nearly 150mph. its steering is precise and its exceptionally stable at all speeds.
This X5 offers nearly all the bells and whistles that you will find from a vehicle from that model year. Some options are hard to find in new vehicles such as power adjustable steering wheel, memory driver seat, rain sensing windshield wipers, power adjustable rear seats, and panoramic moonroof.
I used this X5 as demo for several days, and I am having hard time changing it to a different vehicle.
The power of the 4.4-liter V8 is seamless, and deep. 0-60 mph according to BMW is 6.8 seconds.
Aside of the joy of driving this X5, there is a lot to love in this X5. The interior is typical BMW, all business and no nonsense, but its also very luxurious.
The front seats are excellent: firm and supportive, with lots of adjustments .
The rear seats are also very comfortable and has a power recline feature.
The cargo room is large with 54 cubic feet of cargo room. Power switch in the cargo area move the reclining seatback forward for some additional capacity. The rear seats are split 50/60 and can be folded.
Safety: Full-time all-wheel-drive and dynamic stability control, which includes traction control, electronic brake proportioning, an electronic stability program, and hill decent control.
Passive safety: This X5 is equipped with front and side airbags, and side curtain airbags for the full length of the cabin.
The X5 unit body has been design for maximum energy dissipation in heavy impacts.

All electrical systems are in top working condition. I personally checked the power seats, memory driver seat, power mirrors, power locks, AC blows cold, and power panoramic moonroof, radio and lights, all in perfect working condition.
