Hello and welcome to our auction for one 2008 BMW X5 4.8i (Jet black with Tan leather interior, fully loaded)
History
We are a CT llc we specialize in software development and avionic machinery and engineering. This vehicles was purchased by us in 2015 from a US soldier who was being sent over seas, and had no use for the vehicle anymore. We upon purchase drove the vehicle from New York to CT, which is about a 110 mile ride. There were no issues with the vehicle, then upon further testing we found that the vehicle had an issue with its battery, which was replaced, we also replaced the vehicles alternator, pulleys and belts.
The next issue with the vehicle was its electrical, which we paid $1000 to be repaired at prospect foreign auto in west Hartford CT, please feel free to call them and ask about the work that had been done
We also put brand new brakes and rotors on the car, the vehicle came with brand new Michelin tires and those tires are still new. As we have multiple vehicles and only drove this one about 1500 miles which is why if you check you will see that the last records of maintenance show that the vehicle is basically the same mileage as it was 3 years ago, that is because we rarely drive the vehicle. It sat in the driveway for the latter part of the winter. I drove the vehicle about 20 times in one year locally. Which is another primary reason that it is being sold.
The vehicle already had a recall from BMW for the fuel pump and it was brought in serviced and the fuel pump was changed. A few months ago BMW issued another recall for the fuel pump they had just installed under recall. So obviously after talking to them prior to the second recall and BMW assuring us that all of the recalls and work had already been done to the vehicle and then two months later them contacting us and telling us that the fuel pump was recalled again, we were a bit frustrated with them, as no one really has time to keep bringing a vehicle back and forth to mechanics and manufacturers. Especially being that we do not drive the vehicle.
The good side to this is obviously servicing and replacement of the fuel pump is free courtesy of BMW.
This is a great vehicle, it drives beautifully, the leather interior is plush and sound system is immaculate, it has the cameras and a large navigation/entertainment monitor system in the front so you can see all around you by just looking on the screen. All in all its a great looking car, the vehicle always attracts a lot of attention. So if attention is what you seek ? This vehicle will provide all the attention you need and more, guaranteed.
As far as servicing goes, we have done everything to this car, selling the vehicle will no doubt be a loss for us, because we have invested a lot into it
so whoever wins the vehicle will be inheriting our investment plus the value of the vehicle, which all sums up to be around $25000.00. Which we know we will not receive even close to for this auction, but our loss will be the winners gain.

Currently the vehicle is listed for sale locally in CT so we do reserve the right to end the auction early and sell the vehicle locally.

*Please note we spoke to BMW USA twice this week, this vehicle has an extended warranty on it, the vehicle is registered under the account holder for this ebay accounts name. upon receipt of payment the title will be overnight delivered to the winner, the warranty will be transferred over to the winner, we can do this by simply updating the owner info with BMW, BMW is legally bonded to service the vehicle free of charge under to the vehicles extended warranty, it is a BMW warranty, not a third party warranty. The winner will not have to pay any additional fees for transferring the warranty. We advise the winner to drop the vehicle off at BMW and have them look it over and perform the airbag recall and the fuel pump recall, immediately upon receipt of the vehicle. This is a gift because usually no one sells these vehicles with the BMW manufacturers extended warranty, this vehicle does have BMW extended warranty coverage.
We did not clarify that in the listin, but it is clarified now. BMW brought this fact to our attention this week twice.
