BMW 1979 Euro 635CSi E24
$5,995 - DRIVER - needs body work
Odometer reads 250,000, but engine was rebuilt 50k ago. Otherwise, original and complete driver. Next to the M6, this is the most collectible of the 6's. It has the M90 engine - the original M engine - with rare getrag close-ratio 5-speed "dogleg" manual transmission. Rare limited slip diff from factory.
Original Graphite Grey. Alpina looking pin stripes. Original black velour sport interior with factory Recaro seats. Sexy slim euro bumpers, air dam, and trunk lip. Euro Slick top, no sunroof. She also has the original euro city headlamp wipers.
This is a great market import so all the dash controls are in German. Bilstein with H&R coil springs, BBS Magnesium 17" wheels (like new) with Hankook 235/45Z R17 tires. Four wheel disc breaks. The engine is so clean you could eat off it. Mechanically in excellent condition, but needs some body work. She needs paint and has a little rust but my body/paint guy says he can have it ready for paint for about $1000 bucks. This could be the sixer of all sixers.
Upgrades/service include rotary AC compressor and R134 retrofit, Big fuel injectors, Comforti ECU, LSD, rear camber kit.
Recent maintenance includes: oil change (every 5K) valve adjust, factory reman alternator, PS Pump, reman driveshaft, new flex disc, SS exhaust, clutch master cyl, water pump, radiator, thermostat, brake master cylinder.
Body work required however mechanically sound, engine, brakes, suspension, and transmission.
This car is a Reliable Driving Machine.
We want to keep this car in tact, as it is a European model, rare in the USA.
