1998 BMW M3 Description

For sale is a use but well maintained garage queen. Since I've owned this vehicle it's always been kept under a BMW Cover that I will include with the vehicle when it's sold.
In recent ownership I've completed the following on the vehicle:
Replaced Convertible TopReplaced Tonneau Cover ShocksReplaced Valve Cover Gasket ( This is known to leak after xxx milesReplaced Power Steering lineReplaced Windshield Wiper Pump/Gasket ( these are known to leak)Replaced Spark PlugsRebuilt VanosReplaced Timing Case Cover GasketOEM Factory Alarm with Key Fob ( 1 key / 1 Valet Key / 1 Fob is what I have)Added OEM All-Weather Front Floor matsKenwood excelon KDC-X598 Radio ReceiverReplaced all speakers with Kicker Components (F)/3" Parts Express Speaker / Kicker Coaxials (R) and 3 way passive crossovers powered by a Kenwood Excelon XR900-5 5 Channel amp. There is an extra channel available for a Subwoofer if you choose do to so. This sounds much better than the rather disappointing factory Harman Kardon option.fixed door panels so the pocket doesn't flap and you can close the door without fearing it will fall off ( this is very common on these cars as the pocket is glued onto the door panel and the glue seems to disappear after 15 yrs + )
I have receipts for above items that I will include ( minus the amp). You can tell that there has been a lot of money pumped into this car over the past 6 months. My loss is your gain, You will not find an M3 like this at the local dealer for this price. The ones you will find are the ones that have been used and abused by kids. This car is adult owned.
The bad:Some of the plastic pieces on the door are brittle and the pictures will show this. This is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect the speaker performance at all.The headliner has a small rip in the backThere is a small dent on the driver's side rear panel. It appears to be scratches down to the clear coat. It can be buffed out if necessary. It's hardly visible. The passenger side fog light appears to have lost the mounting bracket and the bulb is burnt. the fog light still works and as a temporary solution it was double side sticky taped into the housing. This is very solid, but I will include two yellow fog lights with the car. I just haven't had a chance to put them in ( Apartment life frowns upon working on your car in the parking lot )Mileage may go up as the weather is nice.
I may have missed a few goodies and I will add them as a I come across them. Please reach out if pictures are needed of certain items and I can make that happen.
A deposit is required at the end of the auction and I prefer that the vehicle be picked up within a week of auction win. I will work with the winning bidder after the auction to make this happen. Clear NC title in hand.
