It took me 2 years of searching to find this immaculate, rare convertible 6 speed manual version of the BMW M6. I've had the car for 3 years now and its time to part with this 500 horsepower V10 beast of a musclecar. These cars are fairly uncommon on the road and I'm stopped regularly at gas stations, etc by people asking if it is a new BMW model. The M6 body design is timeless. The car has extremely low miles and shows like it has less than 5000 miles on it. The body is basically flawless and imperfection free. The interior is beautiful as well. This car was owned by CEO Wolfgang Jaksch, medical pioneer and Formula race car driver for a period of time. I have registration paperwork as proof.
The car is optioned out nicely with Alpine white exterior and black Merino leather / carbon fiber interior. This car has all the factory options from Comfort Access, park distance control, heated massage seats, navigation, etc. including the rare 6 speed true manual transmission. The car comes with its ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER for over $112,000 when new.

This M6 has an excellent, accident free carfax report and no issues whatsoever with title, etc.
Every book, manual and accessory is included with the sale of the car. Both key fobs, one in never used condition, all factory booklets and manuals, navigation discs, brand new BMW M keychain, BMW touch up paint, BMW full synthetic quart of oil, documentation of previous owners and service records for routine maintenance performed at BMW dealerships. The car has passed a current NC inspection (without any issues) that's good until the end of this year. This BMW was also looked over at Hendrick BMW here in Charlotte and passed their inspection with flying colors. The car is in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically and all maintenance is up to date.
The car is an absolute blast to drive. There is a small, non descript "M" button on the steering wheel. When the button is pressed, the car goes into M mode, going from tame to an instant rocketship. The "M" button changes horsepower output along with suspension characteristics, greatly changing the feel of the car. There is also an onscreen option to change the characteristics of what the "M" button actually does to the car. Pretty cool indeed. There is a large amount of information easily available on the screen regarding functions of the car. Everything from navigation to service info along with radio and climate control functions are included. There's even a special button on the steering wheel reserved to be easily programmed to suit your taste. I currently have the button programmed to turn the screen off for night driving.
This M6 has very cool gadgets that you'd expect from a luxury BMW. Everything from the power convertible top (with option to put all 5 windows down with one button touch.) to the LED light up BMW M door sills. There is nice subdued ambient lighting for the interior at night and LED lights under the exterior mirrors to aid with entry and exit at night as well. There is a useful MP3 input in the center console for connecting your bluetooth adapter or smartphone for Pandora, etc. The stereo is phenomenal and has plenty of power and includes a factory subwoofer along with separate mids and highs in the doors. There's also a center channel up high on the dash. The interior is trimmed in my favorite combination for these cars: Merino black leather with carbon fiber accents.
I've done a few tasteful and non-permanent upgrades to the car. These include bright white LED lighting for the angel eyes, LED white daytime running lights and LED white license plate lights. Any of these changes can easily be put back to original stock condition. I've kept the original bulbs. The LED replacements do not trigger any codes on the dash and really do update the exterior lighting on the car. The car is completely stock and untouched otherwise.
Maintenance performed at the BMW dealership includes oil change using full BMW synthetic, battery replacement and programming along with recent brake pads. The tires have at least 80 percent tread remaining. All dealer suggested maintenance has been performed. The commonly failing convertible top rotation sensor has been replaced at the dealer with newer upgraded version for top reliability. The car is turnkey and ready to go.
As for overall condition, the car is immaculate. The paint is in pristine showroom condition and shines like new. No swirls, no chips, no dings anywhere on the body, period. The interior and floormats are in excellent shape. The driver's seat bolster looks very presentable. Please keep in mind, this car has not seen the usual "dealer prep routine." This would include paintless dent removal or paint work, dying (painting) the seats, door panels etc to "prep" the car for resale. My goal was to find an original car that had not been spruced up at the dealer for resale by these methods. Finding an all original untouched immaculate M6 is actually very tough to do. Again, it took me 2 years of driving and flying to different parts of the country to look at examples that did not live up to promises.
The wheels are free from curb rash, the interior smells like new, never smoked in. The car does not leak a drop anywhere. It has been garage kept and I've onlyenjoyed it for spring and summer driving / vacationing. We do not have any children or pets that have ridden in the car. This car is really too nice for daily driving.
If you have any questions, please give me a call or text at 704 904 1512. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this sale at any time. You're welcome to stop by and view the car in person here in Charlotte, NC. I'm available most days as long as we set up a time in advance. I can aid with shipping if you wish to ship the car instead of pick up. Due to the car's exceptionalcondition, I would recommend a white glove shipper with enclosed truck such as Reliable Carriers. They specialize in rare and exotic cars and are actually quite reasonable. A deposit in the amount of $500 will be due to hold the car for pickup. I have clear NC title in hand. There is no lien on the car. Again, feel free to give me a call, text or email if you would like to go over any further details. This is an excellent opportunity to own an exceptional, rare example of the BMW M6 supercar.
THANKS FOR LOOKING!
