2001 BMW 7-Series Description

If you are a DIY'er and you like BMW 740's, this car is for you!
For sale, my 2001 BMW 740IL.
This was originally a Hi-Line car. It had a custom interior (beige w/ blue piping), a custom color (Dark blue), double laminated windows (Since replaced) amongst other options.
The chassis has 221,400 miles on it. I replaced the motor (bad timing chain guides) 1.5 years ago. At that time the donor motor had 97,000 miles on it and the chassis had 205,000k, so the motor now has 113k miles. I also replaced the transmission with the transmission behind the 97k motor.
I purchased a crashed 2001 black on black 740i as the donor car for the trans and motor. (See pictures)
I also was never a fan of the blue high line interior so I replaced it with the black one from the donor car.
Essentially I robbed the donor car for the interior and drive-line. However, I still have the original HI Line interior and the original motor from the car.
If you want to purchase the donor car and all the extra parts I have, along with this car, add $500.
The donor car has M parallel wheels, good rear doors and trunk, rear end etc.
So if you are a DIY'er you can take everything I have for the cars. Suffice it to say I basically have 2 cars!!
The car itself runs flawlessly. There are no check engine lights or any other major issues.
Some minor issues:
-The airbag light is on (forgot to disconnect the battery when replacing the interior) If it bugs you and we make a deal, I'll pay to have it turned off.
-The drive shaft support needs to be replaced. The car shudders at low speed. I have the part and will include it.
-The right front strut needs replacing ($85 at Rock Auto)
-There is some rust. Mostly in the lower doors and a few minor bubbles here and there. It can be easily fixed.
-The windshield is cracked
-The headliner is sagging.
The good news:
-The tires are 80% Michelins
-I have just replaced the water pump less than 50 miles ago.
-Alternator is less than 1 year old.
-Front suspension is new and car has a fresh alignment. No shudder on braking!
-Brakes are less than a year old.
-Manifold gaskets are new, so no crazy vacuum leaks and check engine lights.
Overall the car is a very nice driver. It is loaded with just about every option available that year. Heated seats and steering wheel, large screen Nav etc, etc.
