1997 BMW 750iL E38 V12 Sports Sedan Black
1997 BMW 7-Series Extended wheelbase Description
For your consideration is this awesome 1997 BMW 750iL V12 luxury sports sedan. This vehicle is in good mechanical condition. It runs and drives just as it should. I have owned this car for the past 5 years and 75k miles. I've put tens of thousands of dollars into it in that time, so it is well-sorted with only a few current issues. I have all receipts to show what I've done to it. The SES light is on. It's most likely something to do with the emissions or secondary air system as I've been steadily dealing with it off-and-on for the past year. Brakes are also due for servicing. Original key is pretty much toast so it will need replacing to use the remote function.
Car has been meticulously serviced during my ownership by a BMW master certified technician with exclusively BMW parts. Everything works on the car, with the exception of the lumbar control on the driver's seat and the high speed windshield wipers. Engine is all original. Transmission was replaced about 10k miles ago and has about 160k miles on it. It shifts perfectly and has no issues. She's currently wearing Michelin Premier A/S tires with only about 12k miles on them. These are Michelin's best luxury sedan tire. Best of all: no pixel issues. I even had the instrument cluster and OBC displays re-done about 5k miles ago.
Exterior has its share of scratches, scrapes and dings. Paint is pretty beat on the hood and roof as the Florida sun has taken its toll on it over the years. This old girl still runs and drives as smooth as silk. Engine has no leaks of any kind. Belts are all brand new. A/C blows ice cold.
Overall, car still has a lot of life left in her. It just costs a bit of money to keep her problem-free, especially now that she's 20 years-old, and I need to put that money elsewhere at this point. Would love for this car to go to a BMW-enthusiast or someone who loves cars because this is a special vehicle and still drives like the $100k car she was when she was new. There's not too many of these left out there as BMW only built about 20,000 of them over the E38's 7-year run.
