2003 BMW M3 Description

For your consideration is my 6 speed 2003.5 M3 convertible for sale, black with red interior and 111xxx miles. Clean title with no accidents reported. The car is a late 2003 car so it has all of the great things that 2004 models came with (xenon headlights, LED tail lights). I bought the car three years ago and the previous owner bought the car from a Porsche dealer in MS in 2011 at 95k. Between the two of us the following has been replaced/performed:
Valve adjustment, transmission fluid, differential fluid, VANOS bolts/hub checked, water pump, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, thermostat, accessory belt, AC belt, Koni yellow adjustable shocks, Eibach springs, rear strut mounts, front control arm bushings, rear trailing arm bushings, rear shock tower reinforcement plates, 10mm front spacers, steering flex coupler, recently replaced windshield (used the same folks the BMW dealership uses), 330d shifter and bearing, F10 M5 shift knob and boot, drivers window switches, center console, euro tray in the middle (replaced cupholders), rearview mirror repaired by RadarMirror.com, Dynavin headunit (looks OEM but with Nav, Bluetooth, rearview camera, etc), depo sidemarkers and smoked corners, Phillips HID DS2 4300k Bulbs, LUK clutch kit with resurfaced flywheel, new OEM Valeo starter, new H7 AGM battery, new OEM tail lights (old ones had some LED's burned out), final stage resistor for the HVAC, new OEM cowl cover and a fresh spare key bought from the BMW dealership.
The bad:
The car needs paintwork, primarily the front and rear bumpers although the hood and other various parts of the car has other paint blemishes. There is also a handful of "door dings" that can be found on the body. I'd had paintless dent removal performed and it left a wavy area you can see if you look hard enough. The car has had paintwork done at some point, nothing that reflects on the carfax but just know that it's been done. Front seats could use re-conditioned, they were dyed at the Porsche dealer but from having the top down the dye has started to fade on the front seats. Some of the stitching has also come loose on the drivers side seat bolster. The rear headliner needs to be re-secured, which is a pretty common problem for these cars (I have the replacement "bat-wings" that just need to be sewn in). Passenger side door lock actuator has recently quit working, haven't had time to look into it and the remote for the keyless quits working if the car sits for a period of time. You can easily re-program the key and it works again for a while, but since I don't drive the car daily and half the time I keep the top down, I don't always bother re-programming the remote. The car needs tires, they will get you around for a while but do need replaced due to the factory negative camber. One last area of attention is the wheels, they all have minor rash.
Overall this is a really solid car, it drives great, tons of fun and still gets tons of attention. It does have creaks and rattles, but it is a convertible so some of this is to be expected. A few minor cosmetic fixes and you will have a really great M3. The bank still holds the title, so upon winning the auction we will have to communicate with them to have the title released.
