The 2nd generation of the BMW M3 (E36) is widely known in the sports car community as one of the all time greats. Car and Driver said back in 1994 "Somehow the M3 manages to blend a sense of upscale privilegeand refinement with flashing good looks, spellbinding performance, and refreshing integrity." MotorTrend said in 2010 the E36 "offersprecise feedback from the throttle, steering and shift lever only heighten the feeling that the M3 will do anything you request." Evo Magazine said the 2nd Gen M3 was "the best handling car of the 1990s." And finally, AutoCar said "Obviously the complete package was perfect. It had the power, the understatement, the comfort and the potential for everyday use." With reviews like this from the best magazines in the world it is no wonder why these cars started to spike in value over the past few years and are considered a future classic.
This particular 2nd generation M3 is the finest example available on the market. From top to bottom, inside to out, this car is in absolutely excellent condition. The "arktissilber-metallic" paint is in near perfect condition, with always at least 1 layer of wax, this car has always been garage kept. The original "concave" style wheels look as if new. The interior is in immaculate shape, with the original optional 4-way adjustable "vader" seats showing little signs of wear, while still having enough leather conditioner over the years to maintain a soft complexionand feel. This adult owned M3 comes with binder detailing maintenance records completed over the past 20 years. Regular service was always religiouslymaintained. More recently, the entire cooling system was proactively changed to all Gates hoses & lines with new radiator, the original clutch was changed less than 10k miles ago, the A/C system has been recharged,tires, brakes and pads all changed and Motul oil changed every 3,500 miles. Mechanically, this car is in superb condition. Some minor tasteful modificationinclude: a 1999, Euro Spec M steering wheel, a ZHP M-Sport Shift knob and a complete professionally installed Alpine stereo system with bluetooth, USB and AUX connections. All interior electronics work as they should. Overall, this M3 is absolutely stunning and I am sure it will not disappoint! No warranty expressed or implied.
