the 2.0L in this bmw runs an drives great engine is very sound an is matching #gets great mpg as well also has its orig solex carb for you originality lovers like me also isfactory orig 4-speed manual gearbox is exc shifts into all gears with ease with no grinds or pop outs of anykind an clutch is great as well
body/paint
the body on this 2002 is great for its age very straight all orig body panelsand solid through outbeing these body's areknown for rust but not this one does have some surface rust but nothing going throguh however ther is minor body damage to the front nose around grill an hood area but very minor anfixable as seen in pics below was repainted years ago inits orig type colorPolaris silver but is showing age an fade also somewhere in its life there was an aftermarket moon roof installed car can be left like this having a great patina look whichyou can see suits it well or would make a great candidate for restore either or shewould look beautiful
interior
the interior in this 2002 is nice and clean was redone once an stile in good conditionfew tings can be done to make it great what ever defects there is are pictured below not perfect defects such as a single crack in dash an one minor tear in driver seats an some carpet fade but stile a very nice overall interior
