2000 BMW 3-Series 323i Description
For Sale: 2000 BMW 323i Touring - **NO RESERVE**
I'm going to do my best to give as much detail as possible, but if I leave anything out, feel free to ask questions. The car is a BMW e46 Touring. BMW calls the wagon a "touring". My car has been tastefully updated/customized quite a bit.
Interior:
The interior has been completely redone with red leather. The original non-sport seats were replaced with sport seats prior to them being redone. All of the woodgrain trim has been replaced with BMW factory aluminum trim. I had to order it from Europe because all of the trim pieces are hard to get here in the US. The radio was replaced with a Dynavin N6 with Navigation, Bluetooth, and full USB hookup. At the same time, I replaced all 10 of the speakers with BavSound speaker upgrades. The tail lights were replaced with smoked tail lights also ordered from Europe. All of the center console plastic pieces have been replaced to eliminate the scratches and the parking brake handle has been replaced with a black aluminum handle. The windows have been tinted.
Exterior:
The front bumper cover was upgraded to a M-Tech 2 style. The grills were replaced with black grills from their original chrome. The front headlights have been professionally polished and they are super clear. The front corner lights and side marker lights are smoked to match the tail lights. The carfax will show that the car was in a minor accident. The car was backed into in a parking lot and put a small dent in the left quarter panel. Theirinsurance was covering painting the quarter, adjacentdoor, the rear bumper, and the hatch to blend. Since nearly half the car was getting painted anyway, I paid the body shop the difference to paint the rest of it and remove any door dings or scratches. It was painted with German Spies Heckler paint. Since then, there are a few rock chips but it shows at least 8 out of 10. For a 17 year old car, it looks quite amazing.
Wheels and Tires:
The wheels are M-Sport wheels from a E90. I acquired them from a co-worker who had pulled them off hiswife's car when it was new because she wanted black. The e90 has run flat tires, so I ordered a 5th matching spare and wrapped them all in newYokohama rubber. They are 17x8 in front and 17x8.5 in back. 225/45r17 in front and 255/40r17 in rear. I think they look great on the e46. Tires have only a few thousand miles on them.
Please feel free to ask as many questions or for specific photographs. I'll do my best to get them to you. I'll be out of town from Friday-Monday, so any photo requests will have towait until Tuesday. I cananswer questionsover the weekend though.

On Jun-02-17 at 06:47:58 PDT, seller added the following information:I forgot to add a couple of things. A few common maintenance items that pop up on this particular model have already been addressed. The motor and transmission mounts have been replaced with OEM parts. While the motor mounts were being replaced, I had the shop replace the oil pan gasket which is prone to start leaking around 100K. Also, the coolant overflow tank was replaced which also is prone to leaking in these cars around 100K. The cooling system was flushed and filled when the tank was replaced. The torque converter pump seal has been replaced, and while the transmission was out, I had the shop replace the rear main seal while they had access to it. All of the work has been done by a reputable German car shop in the north Houston area.
