BMW Z3 Coupe 3.0 Running/Driving Project
2001 BMW Z3 Description
Here is your chance to own probably one of the cheapest 3.0 Coupe's in the USA right now!
Up for your bidding pleasure is my 2001 Z3 3.0 Coupe Running/Driving Project.First off.....The only reason I'm putting up my project Z3 Coupe for sale is because my daily driver had a catastrophic failure and I will not be able to give it the attention it deserves.
This is a Project that runs and drives. The engine runs great. I've been working on getting back in shape but now must pass it on to another enthusiast. I bought this Coupe because I believe it is worth saving.
Things I've replaced in the last year:-Serpentine belt (still breaking in squeaks if the car is not driving for a few weeks but goes away after the engine has ran for a few minutes)-Serpentine Belt Tensioner-Rear ABS/Wheel Speed Sensors-Crankshaft Sensor-New Rear Tires-Fluid Flush
Things I know it needs but not limited to:-Front right wheel bearing. Makes noise around 40mph but quiets up around 50mph (I have a new bearing for this that will be included with the sale)-Front ABS/Wheel speed sensor (ABS/Break/Traction Control dash lights on because of this. You should only need one but I bought two new ones that will be included with the sale.Airbag light on)-AC is not working at the moment-Needs new front tires-May need front struts soon they make noise every once in awhile going over speed bumps.-Left window works but clicks right at the top if you hold the button-Windshield has a crack-The key works on everything except the outer driver side door to lock it. The car locks just not with the outside drivers door.
The car get's driven a few times every couple of weeks to keep the fluids flowing and to keep the battery up.This is a project that you can drive while you work on it. It does look better in the photos more than I thought. It has it's bumps and bruises around the body so make sure you zoom in on those photos. I took photos of the bigger ones....rock chips on the hood, rear bumper was bumped while parked in San Francisco and now the paint is flaking off, scuffs on one door and near the bumper that are hard to see in the up-close photos I posted I'm sure these can be buffed out, The front was hit at one point and the hood could use some adjusting, front bumper has scuffs to.
Although it has a clean California title now sometime in it's past it had a rebuilt one.
The Specs:-2001 Z3 Coupe 3.0-Exterior Color. Titanium Silver Metallic-Interior Color. Black-Interior Trim. Chrome Line-M54 Engine-5-speed Manual Transmission-1 of 58 in this combination
The buyer is responsible for setting up all shipping. I will assist as much as I can on my end. The car will not be released until funds have cleared my bank.
Good Luck and Happy Bidding
