2007 BMW 3-Series Description

You are looking at a well-maintained, beautiful Montego Blue 2007 BMW 328i with grey leather and the rare and fun sport seat/suspension package. It is quick, drives like it is on rails and stops on a dime. I am a longtime BMW and classic car owner and this is one of 4 BMWs that I currently own. I've owned this one for about 4 years, am the 2nd owner and only put about 7,500 miles a year on it. I take very, very good care of my cars.
As you can see from the images, this garage-kept car is in excellent condition inside and out. Yes, sure, everyone selling a car says that. Look at the pictures! Look at the history. This is not a listing by some dealer that just picked up a car at auction and is hoping to make a few bucks selling it quick on eBay. This has been one of my cars for years. I have maintenance records for the time I've owned the car. It makes a difference.
Vehicle options include:
Factory sport suspension6-speed automatic transmissionLeather seating (Real leather!)Leather sport steering wheelHeated front seatsElectric highly adjustable sport seats with lumbar support, lateral support and seat memoryFactory premium stereo with USB and Bluetooth connectionRear park-distance sensors (Park Distance Control)Cruise-control with braking function (maintains cruise speed on hills)Hill-holding brake optionGlass sunroofSatellite radioRain sensor for wipers2 original programmable remotesXenon headlights
This car is rust free and the paint car is just about perfect. It is extremely glossy, as you can see from the images. There are no dents on the car. This is different....there are NO scratches or stone chips on or under the front bumper. The only imperfections on the car, and they are very small, are a dime-sized door ding on the drivers side rear door and a small scratch on the plastic rear bumper cover behind the passenger-side wheel. There are a few other very minor scratches here and there that can probably be buffed out and there are a few very small stone chips on the hood and one on the A pillar on the passengers side. There is also a very small stone chip on the passengers side of the windshield a little larger than a pencil point. I never noticed it. These are really very small things but I feel obligated to mention them.
Look, there are plenty of black or grey or silver BMWs out there, but this one is a rare and really beautiful Montego Blue with a very nice grey and brushed stainless interior. You will never struggle to find this car in a parking lot and you will not see your car at every stop light. As you can see from the images, the color is unique and it really stands out.
The interior of this car is very close to perfect. The seats look great with no visible wear on the heated front seats (driver or passenger). There is some finish rub-off (very common) on the easily-replaceable plastic spokes of the steering wheel (see pictures). Nobody has ever smoked in this car. The rear seat console is perfect and an OEM storage cubby has been added where an ashtray would normally go. The trunk carpeting is in excellent shape. The car comes with black BMW OEM floor mats as shown in the pictures and the carpet under the mats looks fine. Oh, and although the term "sport" is used a lot in this car, the seats and ride are very comfortable, perfect for longer trips.
Mechanically, the car runs great. I replaced the thermostat and electric radiator cooling fan this year. The brake pads and front rotors have less than 6,000 miles on them. The sport suspension makes the car a lot of fun to drive. Steering is go-kart nimble. Brakes are amazing. Acceleration is terrific, especially considering this is the more reliable non-turbocharged 3 liter engine. I also own a 335i and a 535i, both turbos, and this car feels just as quick. Note that I may drive this car a little during the auction so the mileage may go up, probably by less than 100 miles.
This BMW is equipped with Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires with 225/45-17 ZR tires in the front and 255/40-17s in the rear. These tires were purchased late last year and have less than 4,000 miles on them. They look new.
This car is for sale as-is where-is. If you are interested, feel free to ask questions, request additional images, or have the car inspected. (Inspections must be completed before the auction ends.) If you decide to bid, please only do so if you have the cash and can pay within a week.
If you are local, we can arrange for you to see and drive the car. If you are not local, I purchase classic cars all over the country and can recommend a very good independent national inspection company and a very good national shipper if you need them.
A $500 deposit is due via PayPal within 24 hours of auction-end and the balance of the payment is due within 7 days of auction end. I will accept a cashiers check from a US bank only.
The BIN price is about $1000 less than the private party sale price for this vehicle as equipped. There are cheaper BMWs out there, but this is the lowest priced BMW for this year, for this mileage and with these options.
Note: I am also listing this car locally, so I may need to end this listing early. If you want the car, click buy-it now. The only way to end this auction early is to click the Buy-it-now price. Please do not ask the reserve price or make an offer for less than BIN via e-mail. I will gladly answer other questions, though.
Thanks for reading. Good luck and happy bidding!
