2001 BMW 525i ONLY 53K Original Miles

2001 BMW 5-Series Description

Up for auction is my 2001 BMW 525i Sedan. The car has only 53K original miles. It has the high performance 2.5L DOHC Inline 6-cylinder engine with a 5 speed shiftable automatic transmission. It has power everything. Leather trim interior. Rear and side window sun shades. This car rides and drives like a dream. The interior and body/paint is in excellent condition for the age.
In the last 9 months the car has had installed: new battery, new fuel pump, new fuel injectors, new fuel pressure regulator and filter, new vanos seals, new ccv system, new DISA valve, new intake boots, all new vacuum lines, new water pump, new heated thermostat, new crankshaft position sensor, and a new cylinder head gasket installed with RACEWARE Engineering head studs.
The engine runs great, however there were two different occasions in the last 6 months that the engine would not restart after shutting it off to go into a store. After waiting for about 20 minutes, it fires right up. We don't know why it does this, but after the above list of items that were done to the car --I don't want to go searching for something that happens every now and then. I have had a check engine light come on in the past and it was for a rich reading on an oxygen sensor.
This is a beautiful car that is in very good condition with very low miles. It is not perfect by any stretch, it is 15 years old and there are some signs of sun fading on the rear deck upholstery. There is also some clear coat starting to peal on the rear bumper cover, and the headlight covers ar dirt, BUT, this is a great opportunity to feel and drive luxury for a fraction of the cost.
If the winning bid is over $5000 I am willing to deliver the car up to 500 miles from Billings Montana. I also have a set of brand new Artic Max studded snow tires mounted on BMW steel wheels that I would include as well.
