2001 BMW 5-Series 530i Description

This car was recently in an accident, with enough damage that I'm not interested in fixing it.
It's a 2001 BMW 530i. 184,474 miles. Manual transmission. Four door. Sunroof. CD Player.
The price is $1,200 OBO. Sold as is and with no guarantees. This car is either for parts, or someone interested in investing some money into the car, which may be worth it considering the excellent condition of much of the car.

THE GOOD
This car has been in my family since new - originally purchased new by my dad, I purchased it from him at the end of 2013. He kept it in the garage every night, followed the exact maintenance schedule, and had all work done at the dealership. Receipts for all work done are available back until about 2010. The car has been very well maintained. The engine and all mechanical parts are in great condition (except for damage from the accident). The interior is also in decent condition.
THE BAD
The accident was at a low speed with low impact. There is body damage to the front passenger side bumper, fender, and rear view mirror. The front passenger side tire popped in the accident and the spare tire has a slow leak. The accident caused some damage to the suspension that makes it difficult to control the car when driving. Until the suspension is repaired, the car should not be driven on the street and needs to be towed when purchased.
In addition, the driver side window cannot be rolled down because the window regulator must be replaced. The air bag light needs to be reset. There are some problems with the body - most significantly the paint damage on the hood and a small dent in the rear driver side door.
