1991 BMW 8-Series 850i Description

This car runs great. Original paint (except for trunk lid) and underneath is like new. Had it 6 years and put less than 10,000 summer time miles on her. Pixels on info system still work. Headlights work great. Brake accumalator replaced. Stainless brake flex hoses, DRT Rotors and Hawk pads, Michelin Pilot Sports, Custom re-finished M-parallels (midnight silver). EDC struts still good. ECS-12.5mm spacers and extended lugs all around. New radiator tank. Magnaflow mufflers with original tips. Rest of exhaust system intact and like new still. Tranny filter, gasket and fluid replaced. Transmission shifts great and works as it should. Car is being driven and has Russian type push pull full hand controls which will be removed unless bidder needs them and contacts me prior to bidding.edit 6/1/16:Auto check shows accident in 2008 when previous owners son hit a curb and damaged front wheel. I did not think that was significant enough to mention.
Now for the bad:-Leaks oil upper and lower oil pan-interior leather and panels great but headliner starting to loosen and panel cover above mirror clips broken.-HVAC control fell into dash. rear quarter pillar coming loose.-Pentosin needs refilled about every 2000 miles-lower front spoiler starting to droop a little.-AC quit working since last year probably needs freon.
This would be a great car to restore or put a LS engine in. If you are looking at these cars you probably know to make this car leak free you need to remove engine and do all the recommended maintenance at the same time. I live in cow country Western New York and no mechanics will tackle this job. This is the sexiest BMW ever built and I hate to let it go. I bought a Lexus SC400 to replace this so it's got to go. I have way over 12 grand in this car. I spent 2500 just on the refinished M-Parallels and Michelin Pilot sports.Call me if you have any concerns about this car or condition.Brian 716-338-3061
