2001 BMW 7-Series 740i Description

For sale is my beloved 2001 BMW 740i M-Sport Package in rare and beautiful Midnight Blue. The car is in great condition and is accident free with a clean and in-hand title. Exterior 8/10, Interior 8/10, Mechanical 10/10. (Please see photos for exterior imperfections).

The car has been exceptionally cared for and has only 75,000 original miles. It comes in rare Short Wheelbase version with contrasting gray Sport Package interior.

It is the last year of production and most if not all issues have been ironed out for this generation.

I am the second owner and have kept the car under a car cover when not in use (included with the car). The pervious owner has kept it in a garage throughout its entire life and maintained it meticulously at the local BMW dealership. See my cars.com post for a free carfax (report shows 3 owners prior to me but I confirmed before purchasing that the car was transferred within the same family and serviced at the same dealership).

The car is not only up to recommended maintenance but also ahead of schedule.

I've replaced or done the following work at a mechanic specializing in BMW's:

- OEM brake pads and rotors all around

- OEM Shock absorbers on all 4 corners

- Summer tires approx. 1 year ago

- OEM Battery

- All fluids have been flushed: brake, power steering and transmission

- Regular Oil Changes with OEM motor oil and filter

- Complete fuel injection system

- Upper radiator hose with complete coolant flush (lower radiator hose will come with the car as it didn't need replacing)

- Valve cover gaskets

- Steering hoses

- Bushing around the drain plug

- Engine and cabin air filter

- Other small items like coils and latches.

Every single button and latch works on the car! Body and underbody are completely rust free!

It is a very rare car considering the year, packages, miles and condition and is unlikely to depreciate anymore if properly stored and maintained. Quite the contrary, it should start appreciating nicely due to its rarity and "celebrity" status because of the original Transporter movie (exact same car including packages and engine).

Car comes with both sets of keys and original manuals and leather binder.

Be amazed by the silky yet brawny V-8 and excellent transmission. It drives much smaller than it should and handles like a dream. I have never driven a car that would eat up miles the way this car does. It is the ultimate highway cruiser.
