1992 325iC Mtech2 Appearance Package - CLEAN - NYC
1992 BMW 3-Series Description
Some history on the car... I purchased it back in 2011 on a whim because the car looked like a diamond in the rough. I figured that with some (serious) elbow grease I could bring it back to life.
So began the cars journey haha. It came from an auction in South Carolina and made its way up to NY. I couldn't start working on the car immediately because I just had too much going on at the time. About a year later I would finally bring the car from a friends lot in Monticello to a garage that I started renting in Long Island (Soon to become my shop, OMG Motorworks). It would take me about one year to build the car... I took as many pictures of the process as I could but closer to completion I gave up.
I finally registered and insured it May of 2014. In that time period I’ve driven 4000 miles. I purchased it with 104k on the clock, it’s now just a hair over 108,700. Every mile has been thoroughly enjoyed but I just don’t drive it enough. With 2 other cars in my stable I rarely drive this one because I have to shuffle three cars around in order to bring this one out! I know such a good looking car and I don’t drive it enough… shame! In my defense I have a swapped E30 that I just find to be more exciting to drive. The vert is a supreme cruiser that is relaxing as heck to drive when the sun is out and the weather is right! It’s part of the reason why I tried to keep the car as stock as possible.
What’s been replaced in the past 5 years over the course of this cars restoration?
The motor was completely seized when purchased, someone absolutely destroyed the oil pan and the auto was toast as well. I picked up a good running motor (around 110k) from a local friend that had recently had most of the major service work completed. The suspension was completely gone through because I figured if I’m yanking the motor I might as well just do a complete teardown? in for a penny in for a pound!

Million dollar question... What does this car need?
-New SI board - the mpg meter is freaking out but everything else works-The front bumper/valance and rear bumper could use a respray
If you have any questions feel free to call me at the shop (business hours). The car lives in my garage in Brooklyn. I can meet with prospective buyers during the day as long as its a nice day and within reason. I do have a shop to run so its difficult to travel anyplace far during the week. I can make myself available on the weekends.
Please do not hesitate to ask for any additional information or photographs of the car!
Thank you for taking a look!
