Even a base model has a myriad of creature comforts and this Titanium Silver Roadster also has a Red leather interior with 8 way power heated seats, FULLY AUTOMATIC POWER TOP with memory settings. Manual six speed with Factory CD/MP3 with Blue tooth linking and steering wheel controls and heated power mirrors.

Background

I collect and restore Chevelles, Camaros and Corvettes. This BMW belonged to a long time friend who bought her "Dream car" as part of her Arizona retirement plan. This BMW is part of her estate. I personally know she took meticulous care of both her cars, never missing a service nor neglecting mechanical repairs. I was with her when she bought this Z4 SI Roadster at Chapman BMW in Phoenix with 14,000 miles and BMW certified extended warranty on it. It was showroom new, with just one local prior owner.

Cosmetics-Body, paint, glass Excellent

This BMW has never seen rain or snow, has never been in a collision, has never had paint work. The body and paint is the factory original Titanium Silver and excellent. All panel Fitment is factory excellent with no door chips. Base/Clearcoat is even with High gloss and swirl free. No peeling clear coat, no mismatched paint work, no faded hood spots, no wear on the top, no dents or scrapes, perfectly clear windows including convertible glass, supple weather stripping, virtually perfect exterior. Chrome and emblems are like new, although original. Power windows move fast and properly and seal very nicely to the convertible top. Doors shut easily and fit well. Trunk lid underside and hood lid are perfect. One tiny stone chip on a fender retouched with matching paint only visible with close inspection. One 1" crack in the front lower spoiler visible if you get down underneath the front bumper. (See picture) NO corrosion, rust, pits, nothing. I saw not a spec of rust anywhere.

Interior Cosmetics Excellent

Supple red leather, very clean unfaded and undamaged carpets, no holes, no tears no damage to dash board or pad. Very light evidence of wear on passenger left upper seat bolster. Easily spruced with a detail. Inside headliner perfect. Console perfect, steering wheel perfect. Side panels perfect. No missing trim anywhere.

Mechanical Excellent

Appears to need nothing. Starts immediately, idles correctly, revs instantly, shifts perfectly, steers straight, stops as designed. Power top moves quickly and smoothly with no issues whatsoever. No noises in drive train, no exhaust leaks, and it sounds great with that factory exhaust. All controls work as designed. Headlights, horn, gauges, wipers, radio/ CD player, Heated seats, AC and heat controls, seat controls, everything working. Drives flawlessly and mighty fast I must say. Is due for the next scheduled service. All books available. Engine bay is not only clean as a whistle, its completely factory and undetailed.. Does not overheat even at 115 degrees here idling with the air full max. Importantly, the AC blows strong and cold!

Fan engages as designed. Mileage is published as 18/28 mpg.

Tires/Wheels Very Good/Excellent

Excellent condition, Run flats on dramatic Star Spoke 18" Wheels. Some of the best looking Factory wheels I've seen. Wheels are excellent, but not perfect. There is just one 1" long edge curbing that is so slight and so shallow that it's not easily noticeable but its there. (You can just sand and polish that away in about 30 minutes, if you are as anal as I am.) Bridgestone 18', Rears are 85% tread and fronts maybe 70-75%^Holding air well.

Title Clear and easy transfer

Normal Arizona Title and registration, current as is insurance. Clear, no liens and

notorized seller. Never salvage never rebuilt title and Carfax is clean.

To summarize, if you are going to buy a Z4, buy the 3.SI option and the two

premium packages for the best value on some high dollar options. Secondly, buy an Arizona vehicle with owner history that has never been out of AZ, and lastly buy it with low miles and from someone that does not need to hide the facts to make a sale!!

Most of the old, classic cars I have sold have gone to buyers sight unseen. While I would always rather sell to someone who has seen the car, my experience with buyers has been exceptional and this is a car that I have absolutely no concerns about. VIDEO available. ASK!
