1998 BMW 3-Series Standard Description

1998 STRONG E36 M3

Purchased used 2 years ago by enthusiast. Mechanical, suspension and cosmetic were gone through throughout 2 years of ownership. Completely stock except almost new adjustable Sport Konis and Dinan coil springs.

The body is clean and straight with some repaint to repair rock chips and bumper cover parking lot damages. Interior is clean with custom Crown customfloor mats. The two front seat needs to be repaired or reupholstered.An after market rear wing with stop light was installed by the previous owner.

This Cars has been well maintained and regularly serviced . Most worn out parts replaced including valve cover gasket, oxygen sensor, suspension bushings, front A arms, shock tower mount, engine pulleys, transmission and motor mounts, etc. All parts purchased from local BMW dealer. (invoices) and Ebay OEM part distributors.

After market yellow fog light lens, still has one original clear light; one was damaged upon purchase of car.

The enginestill purrs and idles smoothly without any shakes and knock and revs like it should. No leak anywhere. The 5 speed gear boxshifts smoothly without any grind or rattle (serviced 8 months ago). The clutch take up is smooth and strong. This car is shoed in almost brand new BF Goodrich GForce high performance tires (200 miles) and just received a full wheel alignment.

This car is a California car and has 0 rust on the chassis and body.

I will also have the car smog check before sale.

Please note:

The followings are the items that I was going to do but now needs yourattention:

1. 2 front seat needs to be repaired or reupholstered.

2. Driver side window molding needs black paint touch up. (pic. 23)

3. The driver side window rubber gasket is torn and has a hole on it and needs replacing (pic. 24).

4. 2 wheel caps with missing emblem on the photos, I have the parts from the dealer and they will be replacedbefore sale.

This is not a modified track car that has been trashed. If you are looking for a good running and well maintained and strong E36 M3, under $1000 will put it back intoits proper cosmetic condition for you to enjoy for a long time.
