I got a 3.5 on my 1st pass, and low 3;s on my second. This beast

is much faster and puts the power to the ground much better than my M6 2013,. I don't know i

f it's the new blueprinted

M engine or what but this sucker has got to be making

closer to mid 600 HP. I have had multiples of every sports car made and used to build racing

Porsche's, and the launch

control, is just too fast to even try on a public road.

I can tell HP given the weight of the car very well. This M6 is a beast!

THESE ENGINES ARE VERY UNDERRATED AT 600HP. MOST DYNOS PUT SHAFT HP AT 640 OR SO.

-------------------------------The German automaker has revealed the newly revamped M6 Competition Package that is available for the M6 coupe, M6 Gran Coupe and M6 convertible. Power output withthe new package increases by 40 hp to 600 hp while torque jumps slightly from 501 lb-ft to 516 lb-ft. When fitted with the new optional package, the M6 coupe and Gran Coupemodels are able to go 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds while the M6 convertible takes just a tick more at four seconds flat. Top speed on all M6 Competition Package models iselectronically limited to 155 mph, but those that also get the M Driver’s Package can increase that to 189 mph.

Complementing the increase inengineperformance is additionalchassistuning as well as firmer springs, dampers and anti-roll bars.To further improve traction, the Active M

Differential on the final drive works with its own control unit whilesteeringwith M-specific Servotronic function has a more direct mapping. Lastly, the M Dynamic Mode of the

Dynamic Stability Control system is focused even more intently on sporty handling.

Exterior changes with the M6 Competition Package includes 20-inch Mwheelsand a meaner sportsexhaust dual exhaust sytem with black chrome tips. The new Competition

Package will be available starting from July, although pricing was not yet announced. But expected at about $8,500 US.

On the outside, M6 Competition Package models feature20-inch light alloy wheels with a custom design and a sports exhaust system whose exit pipes feature a black chrome finish.

Under the skin, key suspension components such as the springs, dampers and anti-roll bars all get a firmer tuning. Other handling features like the Active M Differential,

Servotronic speed-sensitive steering and the M Dynamic Mode of the electronic stability control system have all been tweaked for improved performance.

With the new pack, BMW says the M6 coupe in 3.6 seconds and the heavier M6 Gran Coupe will accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 3.9 seconds. The much heavier M6 Convertible

Competition Package will achieve the same feat in 4.2 seconds. The top speed of all Competition Package models is electronically limited to 185 mph but can be bumped up

to 189 mph by adding the available M Driver’s Package.
