Apparently there's a new System for Insurance Co's: Any Vehicle over 55,000 Miles, and 3 years of age, will get a Rebuilt Title, even if a Minor Incident like a Bumper Replacement occurs.

Please be aware that many accident cars on eBay are sold with “salvage” title.

The difference between “salvage” title and “rebuilt” title is that in order to receive a rebuilt title, DMV must inspect the car and find it to be in road-worthy condition.

A “salvage” title car will need this inspection, which it may, or may not pass.
