2008 BMW 3-Series 335xi Description

Gorgeous 2008 BMW 335xi with rare 6-spd manual and desirable 'N54', twin-turbo-charged inline 6 engine. Car is equipped with Premium and Sports packages. Has Bluetooth, premium sound, adaptive headlights, two-zone climate control, rain-sensing intermittent wipers, power adjustable sports seat with lumbar and thigh extension, and sunroof. Does not have BMW’s difficult NAV from this period (I use Waze anyway).
Car could be mistaken for a one or two-year old vehicle. Interior like new, backseat seldom sat in. Absolutely up-to-date on all maintenance, recent new front rotors and pads and alignment. Almost all work during my ownership done by Bimmerworks in West Chester; records are available. HPFP replaced at 39k with the 'fixed' model by Devon BMW (so that I could avail myself of BMW's extended warranty for this infamous component. BTW said warranty, for this specific car, expires in mid Feb. 2018). You will not find a better running, 'needs nothing', properly maintained E90 AWD 335xi anywhere. Car has been garage-kept throughout my ownership and certainly looks like it was with the first owner too. We were/are those kind of owners.

With only 49.5k miles it is one of the lowest miles E90 335xi for sale in the country right now, regardless of year. Many share the opinion that the E90-92 cars are preferred over the current crop of F30 3-series variants which many feel have been 'Buick-ized' by BMW in the interest of increasing sales. It most certainly has a true, in-line 6-cylinder the way BMW's are supposed to have, not some 'trying harder' turbo 4-cylinder that admittedly gets the job done but without true BMW character. The F30 335 can also boast a similar in-line 6 engine but not the crisp handling chassis of the E90. This car has the heart and soul of a true 'ultimate driving machine', something that fewer and fewer of BMW's new models can say.
Car needs absolutely nothing. Runs perfectly, like new, at any speed. No funny noises, purrs like a kitten, but gets up and goes when needed, with power conservatively rated by BMW at 300 hp. Carves corners with alacrity and goes through any kind of weather. Owned and driven by mature adult; no abuse or tracking. Driven less than 5k miles/year since new, and rather gently while in my care.
I searched for seven months before I found this car two years ago with just 37k miles on it then. It's definitely an excellent 'time machine' example of the breed. This car, given its condition and miles is like finding a needle in a stack of needles, and so I’m in no hurry to sell it; I absolutely love it as my daily driver, and so miles will continue to accumulate, although not very fast. I am actually questioning my sanity on a daily basis for even thinking of selling this car and so the price therefore is very firm.
If you want one of the best there is, perfectly stock, well cared for and with no kiddie mods E90 AWD manuals, this is it. I look constantly at cars and have not seen another like it in two years with this combination of comparable equipment, rare 6-spd manual and ultra-low miles. It was a once-in-a-lifetime find and I know I won't easily be able to replace it if I later feel I made a big mistake (strong likelihood!). Since I know some will ask, I simply want a slightly bigger car for my long-legged friends and am looking hard this very moment at a 'vintage' 2003 Audi S8 with naturally aspirated V8. It's probably the only car that could ever pry me out of this one. But if that car does not pan out (it must prove to be as perfect as the seller is advertising), then I absolutely will be taking this one off the market and 'staying put' with it for a long time!

Car is inspected through May 2018.

NOTE: car does not have run-flat tires. The previous owner replaced them (thank God)! I judge them to be about halfway through their life, the car having just sailed through inspection after the brake job.
As I mentioned in the section on condition, the car is not 'perfect'. No car that's been on the road for ten years could be (albeit used at a rate only 1/3rd the national average). There are very minor, inconsequential imperfections almost not worth noting that keep me from advertising it as being literally in show-room new condition. But trust me when I tell you that I am CONSTANTLY getting compliments from onlookers who are shocked when I tell them the car is nearly ten years old, and especially when they look inside.
