Why is it for sale:Major life changes (marriage, a new job and a move to Chicago, IL) means that it makes less and less sense to have a 500whp German coupe in the stable. I honestly never thought that I would sell this car after spending so many years building it, but, as they say: "life happens". It has absolutely lived up to my considerable expectations and I will sorely miss it. Below is a brief write-up about the car, please PM me with any additional photo requests or questions.

The car is fully loaded with the exception of bluetooth audio and the power rear sunshade (a rare option). Both of which can be retrofitted, if desired.

Interior (9/10):
The interior of the car is in great shape, it came out of a local members 2006 M3 coupe. This particular interior is fully loaded with power, lumbar, heat, lumbar support and inflatable side bolsters, plus the ski pass through on the rear seats. The seats look brand new in the rear and have minimal wear in the front. All electronics (sliders, seat heaters, bolsters, lumbar, etc.) work flawlessly. The headliner and all pillars have no sagging fabric.

Exterior (8/10):
The exterior of the car is in decent shape, especially considering it was daily driven by some of its previous owners. Throughout my ownership, it's mostly sat under a Bavarian auto ultimate car cover which I replace every three years for good practice. To add, the exterior is washed once a month during the summer, waxed once at the beginning of the season and the underbody is washed before winter storage. Speaking of which, the car isn't driven during the winter. All exterior electronics function correctly and there is minimal pitting on the windshield and headlights. The car is a great 20 foot car. It is in no way a concours level vehicle on the exterior, but looks great for a car of its age.

Wheels (8/10):
The wheels have some curb rash from their previous owner. Appearances aside, they've got brand new Continental tires manufactured in April of 2015. They are OEM 225F/254R sizes, were hunter road force balanced and have been filled with nitrogen in them.
Engine Mechanicals (13/10):
Mechanically, the car needs absolutely nothing. I have a six inch stack of maintenance records, receipts and DIYs from my time with the car. This is the first car in my ownership that I've supercharged. I went this route to keep the cars soul of being a high revving straight six cylinder without being too overpowering. The horsepower level it's at now is enough to surpass 90% of the cars you'll see on the street while being civil enough to let your other half drive it to work. It's been this way for five thousand miles now and is good for 525whp on 93 octane as it is. If you desire more, you can achieve 550whp with the addition of methanol injection and it's not unheard of for these kits to put down 650whp if you convert to E85.

Brakes/Suspension (9/10):
Overall, there are no major issues with the suspension, brakes, or tires, but some components will need replacement within 10,000 to 15,000 miles. The brake rotors have 25% of their useful life remaining and the pads have 50% their life remaining.

Pricing:
The price is relatively firm. Everything it needs is clearly listed above. All fluids are fresh and I've only driven it a handful of times in the last few years. To add, there are significant modification and maintenance records.
Now, this next bit is for you people from New York:
I do not want to hear cries of poverty. There will be no discounts for the car since you HAVE to come pick it up. Random scratches are not justification for a four thousand dollar price reduction. It's not relevant to me if you can buy a 2018 M3 from Oklahoma for half my asking price. Your buddy's advice that you should pay "X" for my car is not an effective negotiation tool, nor is the fact that you have 7 kids to raise, or some other stupidity going to be a factor in the deal we make. I'm sorry, but these kinds of responses will not be entertained at all. In fact, I had a recent fecal sample examined and it was determined that I do not shit money. I work hard, like you. I do overtime and I too recently travelled to pick up a well prepared car, so please spare me the stories. That being said, if you're a reasonable person looking for a properly setup M3, kindly contact me on here or on my phone at 201.839.6119 -Chauncey
I am happy to do a PPI at buyer's expense from your choice of local shop (MaxPSI is a well-known local BMW shop if you need a starting point). Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is approximately 30 minutes from my house - I'd even be happy to pick up buyers from the airport. Delivery assistance can also be provided, unless you're from New York and you begin to piss me off.
Thanks for viewing, I'll see you at the next track day!
