2002 BMW 5-Series SPORT WAGON Description

**. **For auction is this 2002 BMW 525i Sport Wagon. This wagon has resided in northern California in the San Francisco bay area all of it's life and as a result is rust free. it also happens to show quite well for a 15 year old car, which was obviously garaged for most, if not all of it's life. The factory paint (Sterling Grey) shines and is virtually blemish free, with the exception of some door dings on the front passenger door. Both the front and rear bumpers appear as new! The car has factory style BBS wheels and they are also in good shap, free of curb rash. The roof rack on top is quite handy and the moonroof works exactly as intended. The interior is dove grey and the leather is still quite comfortable. it is rip free and the wood, door panels and headliner are still very presentable. The dash is also blemish free. As mentioned above, while the power seats function to and aft and up and down just fine, the recline feature on both seats is impaired by a loose cable that prevents them from reclining fully as designed. The cables need to be rewound and this feature will once again work. The car runs superb and is a delight to drive. There are no lights on the dash, and nothing mechanical is amiss. The transmission shifts crisply and on time. This car has the optional steptronic which means that it can be a fully automatic transmission or a semi manual one, where you can shift from gear to gear without benefit of a clutch. This, too works as designed. There is hot heat and cold a/c. The 10 speaker factory stereo system sounds great! There is a retractable cargo cover to shield items placed in the rear of the car and also there is a partition net for pets or other things destined to remain separate from the seating areas. Additionally, the car has the optional rear window shades and Xenon headlights. Tires are at least 75% tread remaining. I have all factory books and even the original window sticker. This is a nice, well preserved BMW 525i wagon that runs as it should and needs nothing to be driven as intended. A very nice, never molested or neglected example and there are not too many left in this better than average condition. No reserve auction and please ask any questions prior to placing your bid.
