The E36 M3 in the late 90's was known to be the car out performing every car in its class and is one of the most recognized M cars in the market place today.

Mechanically the car is very sound, no leaks, brakes are great, the clutch is great, the suspension is nice and firm, A/C works great, the engine has lots of power, and everything works perfectly. I had a BMW mechanic look the car over before I bought it and told me it was a near perfect example car.
