1974 BMW 2002 Tii Description
Selling this well preserved 1974 BMW 200tii(touring, international, injected). The motor has less than 15k on the rebuild. The clutch was also replaced and runs and shifts good. The interior although original shows well. The headliner does not sag and is stain free. It is a non-sunroof car. However, it does have factory A/C. All components are present but blows warm. It will need to be converted to R134A to blow cold. The blower also has a slight rattle when turned on. The paint looks good. Upon further inspection, there are some rust bubbles on both doors at the lower corners(see photo and video). The dash does have some cracks as they all do(see photo and videos). It is just a joy to drive and gets thumbs up wherever I drive it. I bought it for my 18 year old son who is headed off to college. I drove a Malaga Red 1973 and thought he would share my love for the classics. He prefers our 2001 M5 with it's creature comforts. So, I am passing this gem to the next BMW loving owner. It was repainted it's factory color of Chamoix(white). It looks good. At the time of the repaint, the previous owner elected to keep the trim off. It was professionally finished and looks great. The Tii clock even works. Keeps great time. The engine compartment is clean although the previous owner sprayed the engine bay with sound deadening material. It is a tii evidenced by the non snorkel support. The engine fires up with ease whether hot or cold. The tii tracks down the road and the e10 motor planet roars to life. They don't make them like this anymore. Most are either rusted out and/or tricked out. Not many original ones out there. Shock towers, rockers and quarters are clean. Rear valance had some surface rust and previous repair.
Selling this gem for NO RESERVE. Final bid gets to take her home. With all my auctions, a few requirements.

Motor, transmission and drive train are original to the car. Fuel injection was rebuilt along with the motor. Starts and drives great. Paint is better than driver quality. You would enjoy the thumbs up while driving around town in the car. No, the M5 is not for sale. Hahahhahahaha. Thanks again and good luck with your bid.
