2004 BMW 3-Series Description

I'm the second owner and previous owner got everything done at the dealers. This car lived it's first part of it's life in South Carolina so it has a head start on corrosion. This car has been well maintained, garage kept, and sparingly driven in the winters. This car does come with original set of OEM Sport Package wheels with Blizzak snow tires on them. This car also had the Takata airbag replacement fix done at the BMW Dealership. I try to be upfront with everything as I don’t like surprises myself so please ask any other questions on anything I may have left out. I'm an adult and family man and the car has been driven like one and pampered.

Please, no lowball or unrealistic offers as they will be ignored. Please compare apples to apples with everything that's been done. You might be able to find cheaper examples out there but I'm willing to bet they will need at least a couple thousand in the coming months for maintenance and repairs. Additional pics upon request.

Maintenance:

Oil changed with BMW Synthetic 5w30 up to 85k miles. Mobil1 0w40 European Formula used afterwards every 5-7k miles. OEM oil filters only used. Engine is in excellent condition and runs like a top and uses no oil in between oil changes.

OEM Mahle air filter changed every other oil change

Car garage kept and washed regularly with premium products(Optimum, Klasse, Meguiars, Ultima, etc)

Only top tier premium fuel used throughout ownership

Full disclosure: I like to point out everything and try to be upfront as possible including anything that may seem like an issue to people. My wife got into a slight fender bender parking lot accident. This is not shown on any Carfax as it was minor but I elected to change out some suspension components to be on the safe side(passenger rear control arm, hub, shock). I got it realigned afterwards and everything was back to specs. The body does have a couple dents in the area if you look up close and can only be noticed at certain angles. I tried to take best pics as possible to show this. Other than that, it has been accident free.

As a 12 year old used daily driver car, you can expect to find some minor door dings here and there. There is some pitting on the front as normal on any high mileage used car(headlight lenses, windshield, front bumper). If one elected to, they could do paintless dent repair and respray the front bumper and get new headlight lenses and it would look showroom new. With that said, I get compliments all the time from various people on how new it looks and how they've never seen one before. This car is certainly still presentable as you can see in the pics.

I've done all the major maintenance/repairs that usually happen over the 100k mark. The only wear items that may still go out that I can think of would be the alternator(original), radiator/coolant hoses and maybe another battery soon. Other than that you should be able to get many more trouble free miles from it.

I'm very confident of the car's reliability and wouldn't hesitate to drive it across country.

Out of state buyers have the choice of flying into Midway or O'hare airport. I can be available to pickup buyer at airport. I can also work with buyer to transport the car if that option is excercised.
