2000 740iL BMW Used needs Motor See notes and pictures

2000 BMW 7-Series Description

This is a 2000 BMW 740iL. Selling for parts or other needs. NOTE About 9 months ago the engine went out. My wife was driving but I think that the timing belt broke. We had it towed to our house and they it sits. NOTE: the car has around 190,000 miles on it. At 155568 the transmission "USED" was replaced by a BMW dealer the mileage of this used transmission was around 80,000 mile if I remember correctly. "I still have the receipt. This happened September 30th 2011.As you will see in the pictures, the pillar on the drivers side is missing. I had just bought the new items to replace them put after the engine went out I never installed them.
When I first bought this car in January of 2008 it had 112, 868 miles on it. After having it a while I noticed that the pixels on the speedometer has some issues. I had the speedometer sent in and had thepixels fixed. But what I didn't know about was to go to the dealer and have them reset the speedometer to match themileageon the car. I found this out when I noticed that the red light on the speedometer never went out.I took it to the dealer fix this issue but the dealer told me that it was too late to reset the red light on the speedometer. But hemileageof pf 190,000 plus of minus is correct.
I also replaced the airbag on the driverssteeringwheel. This was due to the BMW emblem on the old airbag was tarnished.
To mu knowledge it has never been in an accident but please get it checked out for yourself. AGAIN the sale of this BMW is as is.
The tires still have some life. The spare tire isoriginaland never used. See Pictures.
All the time the car has been sitting I never washed it nor did I wash it for this sale. I just thought seeing it as is was best since you are buying it as is.
NOTE I hope you can see in the pictures but the center console has been changed out to aEurope in that is has no phone cradle and is one large tray cover instead on the two small covers This was around $200.00The price for the 2 piece pillar replacement was around $125.00
For the most part the work trim has been change out to Vavona. I have the Vavona that is not installed for the radio cover ( I have 2 of these radio covers would cost around $75.00 each at least) and a gear shiftknob around $50.00 at least.
NOTE the cup holder in the front dash is broken..
I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Maybe one of you buyers and a engine that you can but in or something else in mind. Maybe this car could be a donor car. or for parts only. NOTE Battery dead But should be able to be recharged/
