Introduced in 2000 the BMW Z8 was a tribute to the famous BMW 507 Roadster. Of all Z8s built during the relatively brief run spanning 2000 through 2003, 3,160 were built to European specifications and 2,543 were built to comply with the federal vehicle standards of the USA, including this wonderful example offered here. Quite rare finished in the stunning color combination of Black with Sport Red and black two-tone interior which makes it part of a small production of just over 300 vehicles totally built, with silver the overwhelming choice with around 3,500 cars, per reports.

In developing the Z8, BMW married form and function like never before. Power came from the 4.9litre V8 of the M5, mated to a proper six-speed gearbox and producing nearly 400 BHP, achieving a 060 mph sprint of just 4.2 seconds, and top speed was reported as an electronically limited 155 mph. All the passenger amenities expected of high-end sports cars of this caliber were standard, including a 12 speaker sound system with a Six-CD changer, a navigation system, air conditioning, power seats and more.
