Wes Craven, creator of “A Nightmare on Elm Street” with Freddy Krueger, “The Last House on the Left”, “Scream”, and many genre defining horror films, bought this luxurious BMW 760Li new in 2003 and kept the vehicle as his personal Los Angeles car for when he was on the west coast. Because Mr. Craven spent so much time on the east coast, the car today has under 46,000 original miles on it. It is, essentially, just broken in. Mr. Craven passed away last year and his family is auctioning the car off with the proceeds going to the California Audubon Society, which is focused on the conservation of birds and other wildlife, as well as the environment, and of which Mr. Craven was a board member for many years.

This beautiful automobile was, and still is, the top of the line for BMW. It features a 6.0 liter, 12-cylinder engine producing an astounding 438 horsepower. This luxury sedan can go from 0 to 60 miles an hour faster than a Porsche 911.

As is befitting the top of the line BMW, the car handles magnificently. The interior is extremely well appointed without being overly plush and retains its new appearance. The exterior is also near new except for a few barely noticeable pings in the passenger side door, one on the trunk lid, some minor cracking of the paint in one spot on the rear bumper and small scratches on the front. There is also a small area of chipped paint on the driver’s door and some other light scratches on the rear deck lid that could probably be buffed out. Two of the rims also have some scraping, but are otherwise in perfect condition. As you can see in the photos, all of this wear is minor and could likely be fixed with a good detailing. On first glance, the car appears as new.

The car was originally priced well north of $100,000. It has always been garage kept and meticulously cared for and serviced.

Included are two DVDs with seven of the Nightmare on Elm Street films and the five of the Scream films.
