2003 BMW 5-Series Description

This listing is for a 2003 BMW 530i. This is an immaculate car that has always been cared for. I bought it in 2014 from its original owner, who was an engineer at Wright Patterson in Dayton. He kept it garaged and only used it for long trips, resulting in this extremely low mileage. It has been a third car for us since then, keeping the mileage extremely low.
This is a car from the VERY end of the E39 run, with a manufacture date of June 2003. It is well-optioned, with:
5-Speed Steptronic Automatic Transmission
Cold Weather Package / Premium Package
Heated Steering Wheel
Power Glass Moonroof
Xenon Auto-Level Headlights
Touch Screen Navigation with Bluetooth
The car also has all the other things you'd expect from a BMW, including leather interior, power tilt wheel/windows/locks/seats/etc, heated seats/mirrors/locks/etc, rain-sensing wipers, and the list goes on. The only additions to stock are the previous owner's addition of a K&N air filter, and my addition of a larger rear sway bar from an E39 M5 and a TEC console cup holder (Both factory cupholders still work fine).
The car has two sets of wheels. The wheels on the car now are a set of genuine BMW 18" M-Parallel wheels with the correct date code for this car (early '00s). They have a set of BF Goodrich g-force Comp 2 tires with excellent tread (and even the INSIDES of the wheels are kept clean). The stock wheels have a virtually new set of General Altimax Arctic Winter tires.
This car has always been garaged and its condition reflects that. It is not "cleaned up for sale," it has ALWAYS been clean and you can see that immediately. No paintwork or damage, ever. It had one winter of use, 2014, and was stored in winter before and after. There is ZERO rust. The undercarriage is cleaner than any other you'll find that's been in Ohio. No undercarriage rust, no corrosion, it's just clean.
All maintenance has been done, including all fluids and plugs within the past two years. In summer 2014 I had the ENTIRE cooling system replaced for periodic maintenance. These cars are notorious for cooling system problems and this car has NEVER overheated or had any cooling problems, and the cooling system is now under 2 years old. The brakes were also replaced with coated rotors and high-end pads. There are NO dead pixels in the instrument panel display.
The paint has a spectacular shine. The last picture shows the reflection of the lights in my garage from the car's hood.
Selling due to lack of use. No sense using garage space for a car that's not being used as it should be. This is a rare find and if you're looking for an E39, you will not find one that's been cared for better or in better condition. Four Keys are included -- two remotes, valet and plastic, original Window Sticker (showing $46,620 price), all original manuals and even the selling dealer's front plate are included with the car.
No shipping. Local pick up only. I want someone to look over this car before they take it, it's that good. Look at my feedback and see that I'm a long-time eBayer, with hundreds of auctions (including multiple cars) and ALWAYS 100% positive feedback.
