Hi and thanks for stopping by our, "No Reserve", auction for this, certified & documented low mileage for the year, clean Carfax, Florida, elderly owned, 2002 BMW M3 cabriolet with SMG transmission! This M3 has been well kept and maintained. Eight service history records as seen in the clean Carfax report. She has been checked out mechanically, the motor is tight and the "Black" convertible top looks excellent and operates perfectly, no leaks, no issues. I have personally driven this sports car and I have to tell you I was floored by its smoothness, solid, tight handling characteristics, no squeeks or rattles and plenty of power when needed! The 2002 BMW M3 has been an all-conquering hero. In arguments around this office, its name is regularly invoked to slap down the claimed merits of other performance cars, even those considerably more expensive! The 3.2L, 6-cylinder engine feels amazing with all the power it has! The SMG (Sequential Manual Gearbox) 6-speed transmission is easy to shift, positive, solid and tight. SMG is essentially a transmission capable of functioning as an automatic, or functioning as a manual transmission. The innovation is that, when functioning as an automatic, the driver does not need to operate a clutch pedal, simply designate desired gear. This is done by a traditional stick, or a set of paddle shifters attached to the steering column or steering wheel. While automatic mode is more fuel efficient, manual mode provides greater engine performance while removing the human component and its capacity for error. As you can see in the many detailed photos taken, the "Topaz Blue" exterior shines like the Florida sun. No paint work, no sun damage. Mostly garage kept, out of the sun and out of the weather. Looks great, might have some spots touched-up, overall the paint is in excellent condition. On the inside, the "Gray" leather interior is in good condition, no rips or odors and the headliner is in great shape.
