Up for auction is this very sought after 1988 BMW M3 E30 Convertible.Convertible M3's were only built for the European market. This one is a BB05 version, 1 of the 174 ever built. M3's were all hand-built at BMW M's Garching facility.

This M3 was delivered to the UK market and registered into the M Registry with the following Factory/OEM options:

• 16-inch cross-spoke alloy wheels
• green-tinted windshield stripe
• velour floor mats
• warning triangle + first aid kit
• heated front seats
• on-board computer
• radio preparation with BMW Sound System
• power antenna
• cassette holder

A renowned car collector in Paraguay imported the car around 2013, then sold it locally to the current owner 2 years ago. Since purchased the car only drove for around 300 miles but it was always well taken care of

The current owner made the following repairs/restorations to the car:

• Full paint
• New upholstery for front and rear seats
• Purchased factory-optional hardtop
 
• minor repairs and restorations

This beauty runs strong, shifts smoothly through all gears. All windows and electronics are in operating condition. The convertible top system also operates normally. Alpine wheels just add to make this car a real gem.The current owner just imported the optional hardtop and it just look amazing

During our inspection we tried to document graphically all imperfections of the car as you can see in the images.

As noted above, the vehicle is located in Asunción, Paraguay. We can assist with shipping overseas at buyer´s expense. We got a quote for the non-paying bidder to ship the car from Asuncion to California, 20 ft. container for about U$4,750.00.- We were told that import duty in the U.S is 2,5% of car's value but please check with your local authorities.
