2002 BMW 3-Series M3 Description

Vehicle Overview Offered for sale here is this beautiful, low mileage 2002 BMW M3Convertible with the manual 6 speed transmission. It was recently traded in by a retired professional here in Sarasota area. Always garaged and very well maintained with low mileage and in very nice shape considering age. Runs and drives perfectly. Shifts well, clutch, brakes, suspension all feeling great and responsive. The electronics, radio, navigation, A/C and other gadgets all working as they should. Black canvas convertible top is in great shape. It has the glass rear window and goes up and down like it should. We normally handle cars that are newer so, the 2002 model really doesn't fit the bill to park out on the lot. We do however recognize that it is a classic in the making so don't want to just ship it off to the auction. It's too nice, plus, we were able to get to know the previous owner and can transfer some of that info to you.
A point of interest that we need to disclose is the fact that the car was reported stolen at one time. We have a letter of explanation from the previous owner that comes with it and we are declaring the car to be free of accidents on the carfax but that is was reported stolen according to the car fax. While the owners were enjoying their home in Hawaii, some one broke into their home here on the mainland and found the keys to this BMW in the garage. While on a joy ride, the car was noticed by the police in a suspicious area and the driver was not far away and was arrested. The insurance company did not need to anything but pay for an inspection by the BMW dealership and replace a part of the carpet where there had been something spilled on it and change a wheel that had been curbed. No other damage or issue. The inspection was documented by the BMW dealership here in Sarasota. No other issues mechanically or cosmetically had occured. The car has been driven by the same owner since he traded it without problems.
