This car was bought new by its 1 and only owner, and religiously serviced at Prestige BMW in Ramsey NJ. This top shelf 7 series has lived a very pampered, gently used life. With only 55k miles, it has much more precision driving to deliver to the 2nd owner. You will be hard pressed to knock this car, or find another that lived a life as this one did. Driven only 55k miles in 15 years, means it was exposed to very little wear and use. In its down time it slept comfortably in its owners 1.8 million dollar Franklin Lakes NJ home. That nearly 2 million dollar garage preserved this BMW to like new condition. If you are in the market for a time capsule, a true gem of a 740, this is your car. It looks, smells, functions, and rides like a new car. While there may be many 7 series to choose from, if you want near perfection, then consider taking this classic BMW home.

It seems like the nicer the car, the harder it is to describe. Why? Because it is just so pristine. Not just pristine, hard loaded and classy too! The last year of this iconic E38 body style, and what many say the last of the truly well built, well engineered, and trouble free 7 series. The body on this car is amazingly clean. The Titan Silver Metallic shines beautifully. Straight and original body lines, this car are factory fresh. All the trim and bright work are in fantastic shape. The lights and lenses are deep and glossy, showing no cracks or crazing. All the glass is original and perfect, even its original solar glare windscreen. The original wheels are in great shape, showing no corrosion. They are wrapped up in a beautiful set of Michelin tires. A true indication on how this car was treated in the service shop, sparing no expense. Opening up the vault like doors, you will see beautiful leather seating, trimmed out with a perfect wood trim that screams class and style. There are no cracks or chips in any of the wood panels. The seats are perfectly stitched, and wrap you in true European luxury. Plenty of buttons to push and play with, and they all work. From the dual power seats with power head rest, to the navigation radio and sky view moon roof. At night the interior is lit beautifully. This car belonged to a non-smoker, and has never been smoked in. It retains its factory fresh new car smell. All the dash, leather steering wheel, and all the high traffic areas show little to no wear. The carpets are fresh and damage free, and every floor mat still retains the two Velcro anchors. Under the hood is a sleeping giant. A 4.4 liter V8 that idles whisper quiet, and runs perfectly cool, even on a 90 degree day. Shifting this big boy into drive gets you moving, quickly and smoothly. I have to admit I am not a European car guy, but this car is a true pleasure to drive. BMW hit the nail on the head with this car. With the car comes the orginal booklets, case of navigation discs, BMW flashlight, 4 original floor mats, 1 master key, 1 valet key, trunk cargo net, cargo strap, both rear foot rests (new in the wrapper), and a brand new full size spare in the trunk. The car is missing the center arm rest cell phone. Wrapping up the condition, it is much easier to say this car list as you would expect a 55k mile car. You could even compare it to a 20K mile car its that nice. Though the best care has been given to this car, any used car is subject to imperfections. While being very picky, I will point out the few. On the black trim of the front bumper, the left corner shows a minor rub. There are just a few stone chips on the leading edge of the hood. Three really to be noted, one above each headlight, and one to the side of the BMW emblem. On the passenger front door, the black rubber trim shows a few indentations. Lastly, while very hard to see or notice, there is a minor imperfection on the rear bumper, about in the center. It is very hard to see, even in the close up. Interior wise, the only two items I could find that are not right are the map pocket on the driver seat back. It does not pull back to the seat. Lastly the front cup holder, if extended out to far it will come off the track. It seems to be missing its stopper. That is about it, really. I have documented this car in close to 260 quality photographs. Please, sit tight and study them, and really appreciate the quality of the car you are looking at. Please note, in most of the exterior photos while the car was out of the garage, the left hood latch was not engaged, causing what looks to be a miss-aligned hood. I never slam a hood down, and by doing this, I did not latch it on both sides. A slight push after I realized (and took most of the pictures) it closes and latched perfectly. Enjoy!!!
