I found this car and decided to buy it for my wife. The car had a very clean body and interior and seemed to run out well.I registered it and put it in the shop to have it completely gone over.It was suggested that I have the front struts and the rear shocks replaced and that it would not be a bad idea to replace the battery.I had all of that done and presented it to her to drive throughout the Spring through Fall months.I knew she would not be happy with a cloth top convertible so this would be perfect. A hardtop that goes down.Well she said “yes, yes it is very nice, but I don’t want it.I have been driving a Volvo station wagon for over thirty years and it works just fine for me”. I think the real issue was that she likes to go shopping and loads the back of the wagon up with her purchases and the 328 just does not have that much trunk space.Consequently, it is for sale. The car was, prior to my buying it a one owner car.I spoke to the original owner and was convinced that this would make a reliable and good looking car for her.
The car looks great both inside and out and runs very well.Everything works as it should and I feel that it looks and performers as that of a car with quite a bit less mileage on it.It has always been agency serviced, and has had all of the fluid changes and adjustments suggested by BMW.
The tires are good, the brakes are almost new, the top operates flawlessly. This is a car you can be proud of, have a great time driving with the top down in nice weather and have the convenience of a hard top throughout the winter.
