1967 BMW 2002 Description

Hello,

Please note, on the second photo there is some water on the ground, it was from when I swapped the water pump, it is not leaking.

It pains me to sell this car but I am moving to an apartment to save money and have to get rid of 3 cars...

It was originally Sahara and had a quality window/carpet/engine out paint job years ago, I was told that it was stored for over 15 years.

It is a 1600-2 with a 1969 BMW 2002 engine in it, I bought off a fellow BMW enthusiast and have put a ton of time and work into it. The car is great, I love it, but it has to go.

It is a driving project as it sits. I drive it around and it is plenty fast but needs motor mounts, transmission mounts. I can't figure out if the temp sensor is wrong or the radiator needs to be re-cored. The speedo is not working, I am not sure why.

It has:
New Carpet
Newly painted wheels and brand new tires
New Weber carburetor
New water pump
New thermostat

I took the entire interior apart and cleaned it, even took the seats apart. Please remember that this car is almost 60 years old and not perfect. I have driven it around for a couple weeks and it is fun to drive and people always say how much they love the car.

Clean title in hand, no paperwork included and no extra parts.
If the auction goes to $11k I will pay shipping to have it shipped anywhere in the Continental US.
It is for sale locally for $12k, if it sells I will pull the ad.
