I hesitate to use the word rare in my ad, however if you’re familiar with E39 M Sports you know Alpine white is rather scarce.
What you’re looking at is a very nice example that has thousands of dollars spent on preventative maintenance. You can certainly spend less money but it will cost thousands to bring the maintenance up to spec. This E39 is ready for you to drive and enjoy for another 100k miles. It needs absolutely nothing.

Oil change and filter with synthetic oil every 7,500 miles. I have a very recent Blackstone Labs oil analysis report which checks out good.
There’s not much bad to say about this E39, there are rock chips on the front bumper and hood, and some light wear on the driver’s seat bolster -all indicative of a 13 year old car. Otherwise everything works as it should.
The original M Parallel wheels are in my possession and available.
The M62 chain guides have not been replaced, however the lower timing chain tensioner has been replaced twice which should mitigate any wear. There is no sign of guide trouble and there’s no reason to suspect it will have any trouble. (If you’re not familiar with what I’m referring to please ask.)
I haven’t detailed the cars features but if you’re looking at a M Sport you’re already familiar. There are pictures of the window sticker detailing the original options.
There are cheaper E39’s for sale but they’ll cost thousands to bring to this condition. Remember, there’s nothing more expensive than a cheap BMW!
