2008 BMW M5 Description

Sad to see my baby go but financial obligations and growing up take priority. I am the 2nd owner of this 2008 M5 SMG since Jan 2011. It was a CPO (certified pre-owned) vehicle that I purchased from Sonnen BMW after months of searching for the perfect color combo and came with a 3-year warranty at the time. I paid just over $55k out the door for it. The original owner traded it it on a new 7-series. It had ~42k miles at the time of purchase and the odometer now displays 66925 which averages out to <4,500 miles/year during my ownership (my office is <1.5 mile commute). The interlagos blue exterior is exclusive to M models and in very good condition for an 8 year old vehicle. It's one of the most desirable factory colors offered by BMW with small metallic flakes visible from up close that give it a "wet" look when it's bright out and almost a purple hue when the sun is setting. Cons would be typical rock chips, minor curb rash, and 2-3 very small door dings that can only be seen if it catches your eye at a certain level and if the light hits it at the right angle :). Tires have good tread left on them (ditched the run flats a long time ago) and I just spent $350 on a professional detail including headlight restoration. It only gets washed by hand 2-3x/month by a local detailer.
Interior features black leather and all the bells and whistles you would expect from a M5 that sold for $100k+ new. Everything works, never smoked in, never tracked, never modified. Driver's seat padding has minor creasing and the dealer provided cheap floor mats which I never got around to changing to the M ones but otherwise it's "like new" and smells new. I am a Realtor and used the M5 for showing property, attending appointments, and taking family/friends out to an occasional dinner. I have a E46 325i I drive daily and/or on longer distance trips. Service records, manuals, 3 sets of keys, title free and clear, and all that good stuff are on hand. It's not perfect but I have put in a lot of effort to preserve it as best I can.
