Originally sold at BMW of Beverly Hills, CA who did a courtesy buy-back (BMW Buy-back) of this vehicle to the original owner at 8,650 miles due to it ONLY having a simple seat-support rattle issue. The seat was then replaced to new standards (see attached photo of BMW repair order). I have all the documentation on this. However, it took over 30 days to get a new seat, hence the buy-back (no other issues whatsoever, BMW was just pleasing a wealthy owner).
I have been the owner since 8,650 miles and it now has 99,250 highway miles, adult driven. This vehicle is a BMW buy-back car and there are thousands of these nationwide that BMW just turns into CPOs (Certified Pre-owned) usually. It is NOT a lemon evidenced by having over 99K miles and still runs like new.
Anyone considering any other BMW with over 50,000 miles or past warranty should have the same concerns with those vehicles. One mostly driven on the highway (this vehicle) has much less wear/tear than those mostly driven short distances.For those of you who do not know this, you can title & register this car perfectly fine inanystate just as I have in the State of Florida for the last 3 years. No different than any other vehicle. Don't let the mileage or buy-back phase you since BMW's routinely go well past 200,000 miles without major issues. The BMW die-hard owners know.....
