2002 BMW X5 needs head gasket. Special tools and parts included!
2002 BMW 5-Series Description
I purchased this car with intentions of fixing it. The seller said it did not run. He could not keep water in it and it progressively got worse until it would not run. The brakes and transmission and all else worked fine. When I got it home I confirmed that the head gasket was bad. This is a very common problem for a higher mileage M54 3.0L BMW engine (google it). I ordered all the parts and the special tools to change the head gasket. It was only about $300. I had surgery on my arm and now I can't work on anything. I will sell this car at a discount price with all the parts and special timing tools included. If I can't sell it, I will wait until I'm well enough to fix it myself and sell it for a better price. I have confirmed that everything works after putting a hot battery in it. It's a little rough around the edges but would make somebody a really nice cheap car. It only has one really bad spot in the body as shown in the pictures. If you have mechanical ability you should be able to do this with my special tools. If you have a shop do it it will cost you around $1000 in labor.
I intended to sell the car for $4000-$5000 once repaired.Immediate deposit required. It is a non-refundable. Do you know everything I know about this car. So take your chances accordingly.
