Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a super clean 1986 Buick Regal T-Type. In 1982, Buick introduced the Grand National for NASCAR with the thought in mind "What wins on Sunday, sells on Monday." They were right, as the Grand National was a huge success. The name Grand National was not used in 1983, and by 1986 you could get a Grand National or a T-Type despite being nearly the same car. These cars sported a 3.8 Liter Turbocharged and Intercooled V6. This power plant puts out a staggering 235 HP and 330 lb ft of torque. Backing the powerhouse is an automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. This particular example is an extremely clean and well kept example with only 34,595 original miles. With only 3 owners, the car has been beautifully maintained and save for one professional respray, the car is completely original. The car was painted its original color, but now has modern base coat clear coat paint. The paint has a high gloss and looks awesome. The interior is the original gray cloth upholstery in wonderful condition. Sitting in the driver's seat and taking this thing for a spin makes it very obvious this is an original mileage car. The car also comes with a clean vehicle history report showing no accident damage. This car really is thrilling to drive. The power band seems to never end as the turbo spools up. This particular car sits on Grand National wheels which gives a very sinister look. Any G-Body fan would love this car.
