1996 Buick Roadmaster Description

If you know Roadmasters you know these cars are really fun to own. They just "float down the road". I've owned this car for about six years and I really don't want to sell it but my family tells me it's time, particularly as it is missing the rear window. Excellent as a work vehicle as you can fit 4 x 8 sheets of drywall/plywood and close all the doors! I've used it to tow up to 3,000 lbs with the Uhaul hitch. It has a very reliable engine, the LT1, same engine in that model year's Corvette! 1996 was the last year this model was made so this is the Collector's Edition. Of course, engine and transmission run very smoothly though it's about time for a tune-up. Solid brakes, recently bled the lines. Recently installed new heavy-duty rear springs to bring the rear up for towing (cost $400). Newer rear shocks and water pump. I also removed the air baffle and directly attached the air intake to the engine because I like the way it sounds. I've since lost all that plastic. Battery is strong but no warranty remaining from AAA. I removed the air conditioning compressor and installed a pulley. Catalytic converters were removed and replaces with new exhaust pipe and mufflers about three years ago in a state that did not require e-check. The car was from a northern state so there is plenty of rust underneath but the frame is not severely pitted and no holes in frame! Includes key FOB with both keys. Steel wheels painted black. Still has the winter tires with o.k. tread.
The car is currently registered in New Mexico but available for pick up in Pheonix, Arizona.
