1994 Buick Roadmaster Description

We purchased this wagon two years ago to use for road trips and as a tow vehicle for our vintage trailer. It is a rust-free car that has been in the Pacific Northwest it's entire life, and the interior isn't sun baked. I am the third owner.
I went through it and made sure all the regular maintenance and wear items were replaced to make it reliable. Last summer we drove it to Salt Lake City and back as well as towing our vintage trailer on a 1200 mile trip to Banff and Glacier in August. It got a measured 21 MPG doing 80 mph (in Utah). It has the lower 2.93 rear axle ratio for better towing and acceleration.
I spent three months finding a good class 3 hitch for it and installed it along with a brake controller with 7-way plug so we could tow our trailer. The factory towing package includes the heavy duty suspension, lower 2.93 rear axle ratio, oil and transmission coolers, and rear air shocks. The wagon is all set for towing your trailer, a couple motorcycles, or whatever toys you might have. Or use it to mount a bike rack on the back.
With the rear seat down you can haul 4x8 sheets of plywood.
Overall the wagon is in excellent mechanical condition, and good physical condition. No major accidents, but a few small dings visible in the photos. The paint is in good condition but has a few typical chips and scratches on the hood. The leather interior is in great shape, the leather is soft and there is only one small hole on the driver seat bottom (common on these Roadmasters). The carpet is in good condition and includes 4 carpet floor mats. It has the third row "tail gunner" seat with two seat belts for the kids, the vista roof with dual sunshades, reading lights, seatbelts for 8, etc. The A/C blows cold, the heat blows hot, all the windows, locks, wipers, lights etc. work. It starts and runs great, no funny noises, shakes or shimmies.
The wagon is available for a pre-purchase inspection before the sale (at your expense) and we are happy to meet your shipper if you want to ship it.
Here are the highlights of maintenance and upgrades I have done since we bought it:
