This is a 1958 Buick (Queen of Chrome) Special Sedan. I purchased this car as a project but things happen and now it’s time to let it go to someone else that has the time to finish it. I have repaired and/or replaced a lot of things in the car and it drives like it should. It has a Buick 364 Nail head motor with 4 barrel carb and the Dynaflow Automatic Transmission with the P,N,D,L,R, on the Indicator it also has factory power steering, and true dual exhaust ( hard to find one with it). This will be easy to finish up the refresh. I will list all the things that I have done so far to the car. In the photos things are missing off the car. I removed them so I could get the paint done but no longer able to do so. The good news is that this is a complete car and I have everything for it. I will be happy to take photos of any part and E-mail them to you if you like. You could just put everything back on and drive it around as it is, it has no mechanical issues that I know of. Or take some time and finish what I have started. This car is being sold as is where is so please ask questions.
Now the list
Rebuilt motor (under 1000 Miles on it to date), Rebuilt Transmission (same as motor), Refreshed rear end (same as motor), New springs all around, New brakes all around, New front floor boards, New driver side toe board. Rebuilt original wiper motor with auto park, new washer pump and glass bottle, new battery with yellow eye installed, new sway bar bushings, radiator boiled out and pressure checked, 4 New H4 head lights with day time running lights (only two installed on car), led lights in all 4 corners, led lights all inside, factory working speed minder, rebuilt clock, recalibrated oil gauge and temp gauge, original hard fiberglass glove box, rebuilt starter, rebuilt generator, rebuilt carb, rebuilt fuel pump, also added an electric primer pump in line, new fuel lines, lined gas tank (will never rust), new factory stile exhaust installed 3 weeks ago, new factory heater control valve, new hoses everywhere, and more. All factory things work as they should accept the radio. I have it but it does not work. Spare tire with jack. Original owner’s manual in envelope in glove box. NYS clear title, and I am sure I forgot a few.
Extra things you also get with the car.
L/R tail light housings, speedometer drum with speed minder, horn ring, extra washer bottle, front blinker cover, bumper guards, parts, parts, and more parts, factory service book to name a few and there is more that goes with it.
What you don’t get with the car
A warranty of any kind. Sorry have to put this in but some people just don’t understand.
If you would like to see or test drive the car it is at zip code 11722 I would be happy to make an appointment with you to do so. Also if you would like a mechanic to look at it for you at their shop we will have to make an arrangement for that I will not be driving the car all over the world. It is registered and insured as a historical car and I have to play by their rules.
DONT' LET THIS ONE GET AWAY !!!
