96 woody station 166k black/tan lthr 3 seat tow pack posi LT1 VGC drives great

Up for bid is a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with 166k one owner miles. Collector's Edition like every other '96 Roadmaster. Loaded up with power everything. Boasting GM's Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Tow package with 2.93 limited slip rear end (GW9 & G80 build codes). Trailer preparation "tow package" means the factory rated the car to pull 5000 lbs but these did not come from the factory with hitches so all hitches are aftermarket. This car has a light duty hitch. Delivers consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. Clean history - send me your email address and I'll send you the history report showing lots of maintenance. Salvage title due to left rear door damage - I have a "before" pic; feel free to ask. Runs and drives great - drive anywhere.

Condition Report
ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Newer battery & good charging system. New starter, newer water pump. Starts easy and runs strong.
TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors.
EXTERIOR:Body: Body is very straight - two small dings on hood and one small ding on tailgate pretty well hidden in the woodgrain. View images full size to see details. Above average. Paint: Paint is above average for 20 year old carr. A couple small scratches on hood. Very nice overall - see pics. Wood: Upper wood trim is in great shape - original and mostly not peeling. The side panel fake wood is in great shape (still shiny, not faded). Not even peeling around the license plate area like most are. Other: Lower stainless bright trim is mostly in good shape. One small ding on front bumper trim. Rubber side trim is all there. Windshield and all other glass are good with no chips, cracks or scratches. Undercarriage is remarkably solid - see the pics. Underhood sheet metal, tailgate sill and door jambs have a few very minor rust spots as seen in pics. No rust in spare tire well. Aluminum wheels are in good shape.
INTERIOR: Interior of the car is exceptionally nice and clean. Carpets in good shape, dash has no cracks, seating areas are great - leather is still soft and not hard/brittle. Headliner is perfect with no tears or sagging. Steering wheel is in nice shape. No smoke or pet odors. Very nice interior overall.
ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) Radio doesn't work but all other power options work reliably, including power windows, power locks, power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, power antenna, keyless entry, rear window release, rear wiper, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster.
DRIVEABILITY: Drives out very nicely. Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 70% tread remaining on a matched set of GoodYear radials. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drive anywhere.

Will meet you or your transporter at my location by appointment after 6 pm weekdays or anytime weekends. No administrative fee on this auction.
