1954 Buick Other Special Description

What I have up for sale is a beautiful 1954 Buick Special 2 door sedan with the original 264ci Nailhead V8 and Dynaflow automatic transmission. The engine currently has 92,780 miles and it has not turned over in terms of mileage. The engine has been well maintained and parts have been replaced as needed. The transmission has been rebuilt as of 2005 and I have receipts as proof of the rebuild. Drives smoothly from 0-85 mph. All accessories, turn signals, lights, horn, etc work on this car exactly the way it came from the factory. The body is in very nice shape and it doesn't show any signs of rot. Undercarriage is clean and all framework/floorboards are solid with no rot. Quite a bit of work has been done to this car so I'll list it here:

1 rebuilt original Dynaflow transmission (receipt/done in mid 2000s)

Suspension completely rebuilt using factory correct parts- coil springs, front gas shocks, rear knee action shocks, kingpins, bushings. (receipt)

New tires (BF Goodrich bias ply) added 2008. Still in excellent shape

Roof repainted by JBL Specialty Automotive in the spring of 2014.Repainted to factory color “Baffin Green” (exterior repainted in late 80s/early 90s in Ocean Mist green lacquer)

Exterior fender port holes, Special script, trunk trim, tail light lenses, license plate lenses all replaced with New Old Stock (NOS) or exact reproductions

Rebuilt Stromberg carburetor (2bbl)

Ignition wires, ignition coil, spark plugs, ballast resistor, starter relay, voltage regulator, generator, horn relay all replaced with New Old Stock (NOS) or exact reproductions

Air breather oil bath restored spring of 2015 to factory specs

New Radiator

New Interstate battery as of 2015 (previously replaced in 2011)

Rear differential drained and filled with SAE 90 Hypoid fluid (July 2015).Gasket replaced.

Redirad installed for AM radio (allows radio to convert MP3 tunes to AM

Replaced radio with factory correct rebuilt unit in 2012

Restored scuff plates to original specs

Restored/replaced climate control wires for defrost, auxiliary heat (both heaters work)

Brakes flushed and filled (First in November 2012 then recently on 7/2015).Brake booster replaced mid 2000s

Oil is less than a year old and with less than 500 MI
