1961 Buick Electra 225 Convertible

The car has the following equipment:Factory Air conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power To, Power Windows and six way power seat. 401 Cubic Inch 445 Wildcat V8 with the twin turbine Dynaflow transmission. AM radio

The car is a driver and not a show car. If you want a classic convertible to cruise in and some blemishes and pitting are not of concern then this is the car for you. It is ready to be driven as is and looks great from a few feet away, but has blemishes. The paint on the car is nice and shines, but does have some imperfection including some bubbling (look at picture of drivers door and the front hood of the car) The pot metal throughout the car is pitted, The bumpers looks nice but they have some rot in spots (look at drivers side rear bumper above the exhaust) The air and heat are currently not working along with other dash items. The power windows work, but need some help. The power top motor engages but doesn't have enough power to lower or raise the top. The convertible top has staining from tree droppings and has also shrunk. The underside of the car is not detailed, has surface rust through out and some floor foot well rot. The car starts up easy, runs, drives and stops, there is also a slight exhaust manifold leak on the drivers side.

This is a great opportunity to get into a great looking driver quality classic for under $15K. This car had been treated to a lot of restoration work at some point in its life and then was neglected.
